Helan village is located in Khanakul, Tehsil of Hooghly district in West Bengal, India. The total geographical area of village is 107.74 hectares. It has a total population of 3,627 peoples. There are about 812 houses in Helan village.

Working towards achieving our mission and vision RHCF took one more step forward by opening a new primary healthcare centre at Helan on December 30, 2017. This centre is sponsored by Shr. Shiw Ratan Mundhra and supported by Sita Devi Malhotra Charitable Trust (SDMC Trust). Alike other rural unit of RHCF, this unit too offers healthcare service and week long free medicines to patients under general medicine, optometry, dentistry and homeopathy. It currently runs five and half days a week (Wednesday-Sunday) from 9 AM-5 PM and on Monday from 9 AM-1 PM; Tuesday (closed).
